Hartwood Services' field-based engineers look after the main switching centres and data hubs of the UK's leading mobile telcos such as T-Mobile, Orange, 02 & Three.
They asked App Developer for Android to develop some bespoke Android and web applications to help their engineers become more efficient with their time.
- We developed a bespoke Android app to install on 7" Android tablets allowing field engineers to the work on tasks allocated to them by project managers.
- We built a Project Management System web app where Hartwood Services project managers could set up site surveys and installations and allocate these to the 150 engineers in the field and the data appear automatically on the relevant field engineer's Android tablet app.
- We developed a Customer Portal web app where customers (e.g. T-Mobile, Orange, 02 etc.) can
login and enter their requirements and be able to track the status of their projects.
- We built a website with bespoke CMS (Content Management System) based on the look and feel of their previous website.

Emtep Aviation Logistics
You'll see the Emtep logo on vehicles at all major UK airports as they provide crucial maintenance or emergency parts via daily delivery cycles to all UK airports using their fleet of 35 trucks
They have been fulfilling the logistics requirements of the aviation industry now for over 25 years.
- We developed a bespoke Android app to install on Android smartphones allowing drivers to see new delivery jobs instantly and capture signatures to confirm delivery.
- We built a Delivery Management System web app where Emtep dispatchers could set up deliveries and the data appear automatically on the relevant driver's Android smartphone app.
- We developed a Track and Trace web app where Emtep customers (e.g. British Airways, Air France, etc.) could
